65th Anniversary Tournament, Program &Sponsorship Committee Meeting

Monday, June 1st at 7pm

This is our biggest fundraiser for the tournament.  If you are looking for a way to get involved with the tournament, this is the perfect opportunity.  

Nanka Shorai Practice @ GJC, Saturday, June 6th

Time: 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Participation from our juniors is highly encouraged!

2nd Quarter In-House Shiai, Monday, June 15th
This will be a busy day and we would like to start on time.  If you're able, please arrive early to help set up the mats and chairs.  ADULTS, if you would like to participate, please arrive no later than 7:15 pm

By-Laws Revision  

As you may know, our amending our bylaws has been a project that has spanned the past few years.  Per the process outlined in our current bylaws, the board has approved this proposed revision and now the general club membership will have the same opportunity.  Each adult student and the parent/guardian of each minor student is allowed one vote. The biggest changes have been to reduce the size of the board.   

We will vote before the club shiai on June 15th. 

JCI Carnival, Saturday/Sunday June 27th and 28th 

Please remember to purchase your booklets!  We ask that each family buy 2 booklets of scrip ($20 total), each scrip also serves as a raffle ticket.  We will also have the schedule to sign up for a shift at the tamale/hot dog and game booths.  This event supports all of the facilities and organizations that utilize the JCI (us included).
