information and registration forms. Nanka is hosting the tournament this
year and they are looking for volunteers to help run score tables. This
would be a great opportunity to learn more the tournament experience as ours is
just around the corner! We
will do early weigh-ins at practice on THURSDAY.

ELISE FUJITA!!!
This year, Gardena Judo Club has awarded our Nanka judoka of the
2015 award to Elise Fujita. She has practiced judo many years with GJC is
an accomplished competitor, golfer and girl scout. Elise will be
recognized with other Nanka judoka this Saturday. Congratulations Elise!
NO PRACTICE on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day
JCI Carnival, Saturday/Sunday June 27th and 28th
Please
remember to purchase your booklets! We ask that each family buy 2
booklets of scrip ($20 total), each scrip also serves as a raffle ticket.
We will also have the schedule to sign up for a shift at the tamale/hot dog and
game booths. This event supports all of the facilities and organizations
that utilize the JCI (us included).
